Laura Johnston, professor at the Missouri School of Journalism, teaches writing and cross-platform editing courses and serves as Opinion editor for the Columbia Missourian.

In her role as affiliate faculty for the Novak Leadership Institute, Johnston appreciates the chance to help students from different schools and colleges across the University of Missouri campus. 

In her own words: “The lessons of this class are so useful for students at all levels. It is my hope that students will remember these lessons and discussions for years to come—and still put many of these principles to use in their professional and personal lives.”
