Elizabeth Stephens is associate professor and Missouri Community Newspaper Management Chair at the Missouri School of Journalism and executive editor for the Columbia Missourian. 

In her role as affiliate faculty for the Novak Leadership Institute, Stephens enjoys the opportunity to help students better understand how leadership can set them up for success in their future careers. 

In her own words: “Leadership is multi-faceted, and I believe the Novak approach shows how leadership skills are relevant in many different ways. Leadership is about understanding yourself and others to work and communicate together, and that happens in workplaces and organizations in many ways.”
