Annette Kendall, an associate teaching professor in the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources (CAFNR), is a leadership educator and researcher specializing in innovation within the life sciences. Her work examines how knowledge networks and power dynamics shape innovation trajectories, with a focus on developing inclusive leadership practices.

Kendall enjoys engaging with students as they begin their leadership journey.

In her own words: I'm excited to help students explore their strengths, build confidence, and discover what leadership means to them in both personal and community contexts. Leadership education equips students with the skills and mindset to navigate change, solve problems, and make a positive impact. It helps them understand their values, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively with others. By learning to lead early, students build a strong foundation for personal growth, academic success, and future careers.
